Grateful for Life
Today my husband got in an accident. Not his fault, but our car is totaled. He is ok thank goodness. But looking back on when he left to go on some errands, he was going to take my 12 year old son with him, but it didn’t work out. I also suggested he might take our 5 yr. old daughter and he didn’t really want to do that for what he was doing. Anyway, the picture speaks for itself. If my son had gone, he would have maybe been at the very least in serious condition. And my daughter would have been hurt for sure by the impact. It was a T bone accident. The front tire is sideways and the passenger door is at least half way into the passenger seat. Yes, we are sad to loose a car that we have relied on for 15 years. But so grateful my husband is ok and my children are safe. Life is too short to not appreciate it. And sometimes things that have been there so long and then gone become more valuable. We are sad for our reliable car, but so grateful for life.
