I have found treasure

There the whole time but hidden

Once outcome released

All fell into place

Gradual change and sudden

A soul lost and found

Never moved outside

Inner world very different

Where faith lives and doubt

Journey to be found

Discovery, adventure

Only to realize

Treasure left at home

Returned to find a new life

Because of new eyes

Appreciation

See clearly what is real, true

Hardship, weeping, toil

Sorrow and struggle

Rise, believe, release the past

Let go and forgive

Dark no longer like

Tiny spark of hope grows to

Glowing ember, turns

Roaring fire of life

Hope found in letting go, saying

Goodbye to old ways

Seeing with new eyes

That treasure there all along

Journey needed then

Hold dear to the heart

Protect and preserve deep love

Nurture, take great care

Find relief knowing

Never need to let go, safe

Comfort in home base

Trust where meant to be

Not because force or jail

But are in heaven

Nowhere else wanted

Where love and light intertwine

So stay forever
