This picture was hanging at my church and I noticed it and just took it in. It was a reminder to me that we are all known to Him, even though we may be broken in some way. He still sees us and even seeks after us to heal us. I love him gently lifting this cloth to see the person under it. A reminder that He sees all those who may feel forgotten. A reminder to me of Christ saying “I see you…no matter how broken, how lost, how low or how forgotten you feel…I see you. And you are not forgotten to me.” This depiction of the Savior has been a powerful force in reminding me, even though I may feel weak, he still sees me and helps me each day.
