Own the Process of becoming
These are my journals over the past three years. Though I have many more, these represent the work of depth and struggle, tears, hurts, and heart ache, but also joy and gladness, connection, revelation, and insights into me, and who I am becoming. My essence is contained here. It is in the journey that I truly gain perspective and writing down the journey helps me remember and connect to where I have been, the courage I have taken, and the wisdom and strength and miracles I have received through it all. There is nothing more valuable than documenting with grace and patience so my legacy can be passed on. It helps me connect to my inner sense of knowing. It is a practice of noticing and receiving. Of letting go of past unfounded judgements and clouded thinking. I get clarity. And can connect to what is real. I see my imperfections, but also what grounds me and makes me who I am. I love my essence. I love my journals that remind me of my journey’s and paths I have taken.
As a life coach I love encouraging my clients to keep a journal of what comes up and what they notice. And whatever that is, is accurate for that moment in time. Notice and allow. Record it and capture it, so it can be honored and kept safe.
Your essence is here. In the quiet moments of reflection. You can record what your heart truly desires and what wants to come out. It is sacred ground. And deserves to have permission to be seen, and recorded, even in a journal, so these ideas and desires can come to life.
