A Transformation
Looking back, I can see how hard I tried and did my best
And I want to be kind to her and all her efforts
And I was run down and empty
I felt I had nothing to contribute to the world.
I didn’t think I had choices for my life and felt trapped.
I always said yes
I felt no one listened to me
I was a victim of my own life
I didn’t think my job as a mom was important
I didn’t realize that I was the best one for it
I put myself last and didn’t buy things for myself even though I could have.
I would cut my own hair, not wear makeup, and buy hand-me-down clothes.
Pictures of me was rare.
I never posted on Facebook.
I didn’t realize how precious I was, and how important I was to my children. Even when my mom always tried to tell me.
I didn’t have permission to dream of what was possible.
I was hiding from my own life.
But...
I wasn’t meant to hide
I wasn’t meant to put myself last.
I realize now those thoughts don’t serve me
As I have grown in my own life coaching journey:
I find great joy in who I am and have self-appreciation
I take time to truly listen to my soul and what it is telling meI take extremely good care of myself
I am aware of my energy and how I use it
I connect daily with my creator and feel his love
I schedule haircuts so they happen
I reflect beauty daily
I have my own space in my home that nurtures me
My own playlist of songs to meditate and meditate daily
I seek the sunrise in the morning to see and be seen by Him
My kids are thriving and I have deep relationships with them
Mr. Awesome is amazing to support me through it all.
I have choices and options available to me
I have dreams I have accomplished such as:
I have my own blog, website, YouTube channel, Facebook and Instagram page
I have created my own music album on Spotify, iTunes, and YouTube.
I got a degree in music and the University of Utah and graduated Jan.2020.
I teach music to K-3rd graders twice a week and love
I realize my worth and how valuable and precious I am
I realize my potential as well as what I contribute
I know how important I am to my kids and enjoy special moments with them
I am living a life I believe in
That’s what life coaching did for me. I feel a return back to who I truly am. It gave me peace, connection, depth and a way to see how truly special I am as a divine being. How grateful I am for the journey. To see better.
